    WAC Under Cabinet Lighting FAQ's
    • How long can linear track lighting be?

WAC Lighting linear tracks are limited to a run of 20 feet on a 12 volt system. The maximum wattage per run is capped at 240 watts. When purchasing fixtures, keep this maximum wattage in mind.

  • Is there a limit to the number of puck lights on a single transformer?

Both puck lights and miniature recessed lights require a class 2 transformer, which is limited to 60 watts per output. Generally mini-recessed and puck lights use 20 watt bulbs, therefore you would be limited to three fixtures. However, WAC Lighting has created transformers that allow for multiple outputs on a single transformer, making the number of fixtures you may use as high as 300 watts (15 fixtures). With the LED puck lights, a special driver is required which can power from one to four fixtures at the same time.

  • What do I need to make a complete LED tape system?

InvisiLED tape light requires only two basic components to operate: a transformer and the LED tape itself. You also have the choice to add joiner cables, connectors and mounting clips to customize your layout.
